Celebrating Valentine's Day with SRUPB

Slippery Rock University's Program Board set up a nice Valentine's Day get together in the SSC Ballroom today. They had three events going on from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. These small events were Stuff-a-plush, the chocolate fountain, and a photo booth. The Program Board set up a couple loud speakers and played some music to liven the party. It was a good turn out with what looked like well over 150 people in the Ballroom.

Picture 1: Here is Ella Richards and Lilliana Repko stuffing their bear and pig and putting small shirts on them. SRUPB is making sure to have all different kinds of stuffed animals at the get together so it will accommodate everyone.

Picture 2: In this photo, Janet, who is from student affairs, hands Emily Warren and Briana Nuhfer a napkin and pretzel stick dipped in chocolate. Not only were pretzel sticks provided, but also marshmallows, graham crackers, and rice crispy treats could be dipped into the chocolate fountain.

Picture 3: Stephanie Skeba, Paige Anundson, and Allie Gehlmann enjoy their chocolate dipped snacks after they had created their stuffed animals. There were a bunch of tables spread out throughout the entirety of the SSC Ballroom for people to take breaks, snack, or stuff their animals.

Picture 4: Here is Brooke Rockefeller and Arianna Whiteman posing for the photo machine while AJ Brach, a volunteer, helps capture their photo. The machine was able to take a total of three pictures for each group of people that walked up there. There was a constant line for the booth.

Picture 5: SRUPB members Ben DeRose, Jocelyn Kytchak, and Marissa Mastr-Angelo take control of the songs for the people who are attending the event. The music added a little more livelihood to the event.
