Web Biography Proposal - A Look Into Former Police Sergeant Ryan Nuhfer's Life

For my final assignment in the class of New-Media Journalism, we as a class each have to come up with a biography about someone we know of that has had a pretty interesting life. For this assignment, I wanted to find someone who not only has had a pretty interesting life, but has definetly had some excitement as well.

It took me a while to find the perfect suitor for this assignment, but I think I may have someone who can fill the interesting and exciting requirements. Being that I am from northwestern Pennsylvania, I am very close to Warren County in PA. In Warren County, they have their own sector of a State Police Department not too far from downtown Warren, PA. Just this past summer, their sergeant retired and his name is Ryan Nuhfer. I personally know Mr. Nuhfer simply because of his time at the police department and just in general he is a great guy. He is also a family friend of mine. Being that he is a former sergeant and has worked down here near Slippery Rock in recent years, I figured what better person to do a biography on than him.

I could most certainly get interviews scheduled with him as well as some people that are close to him. I know he lives just right down the road from his parents which I am guessing they would be more than happy to give me some insight on Mr. Nuhfer's life as well as his wife Melissa. I have already been in contact with Mr. Nuhfer and he is completely willing to partake in this assignment. I just truly believe a biography on a former sergeant State Police officer would be interesting, but also exciting with some of the different stories that could be implemented into his life.
